Abstract

Herein, the author presents a case of a 63-year-old male patient with periampullary tumor operated with Whipple's Procedure and developed chylous ascites soon after enteral feeding at the 3rd day the operation. The patient was successfully treated with medium-chain triglycerides enriched enteral feeding. Over a period of 8-12 weeks, the ascites disappeared and patient fully recovered.
