Abstract
Stereotaxic localization was performed for excisional biopsy of 54 nonpalpabl breast lesion which are detected by mammography. 19 cases were found to be malignant, 4 ductal carcinoma in situ and 15 invasive ductal/lobuler carcinoma. 87% percent of invasive cancers were smaller than 20 mm. Positive biopsy rate was 35%. All nonpalpabl lesions were excised completely. In excision of every kind of nonpalpabl breast lesions, stereotaxic marker localization always provided the right localization for complete excision and minimal tissue loss.
