Abstract

In this experimental study, 30 rats (Mus. Norvegius Albinos) were used. 15 of them were control and other were therapeutic groups. At first, nephrectomy was performed for one kidney in the therapeutic group. After that we formed thrombosis in the intact kidney's artery. Low-dose streptokinase (SK) 3.000 units (0.03 cc) was infused by intra-arterial way. One week later, all of the experiments were sacrificed and specimens were examined histologically. According to the histologic and biochemical investigations there was no evidence of ischemia.
